I study legislative studies, electoral systems, public policy, and, more recently, populism. My work has been published, among others, in Legislative Studies Quarterly, Electoral Studies, Political Studies Review, and Parliamentary Affairs. My research has been supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation and the Academy of Finland.
